Refund & Return policy

This Refund & Return Policy applies to purchases made through vellas.uk. Vellas is operated by BlueOak Commerce LLC, a Montana limited liability company.

1. Return Period

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

Please include your order number, the reason for the return and photos where relevant.

Returns sent without contacting us first may not be accepted.

2. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused, unworn and unwashed
  • In its original condition
  • In the original packaging
  • Returned with all tags, accessories and included materials
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Items that show signs of use, damage, alteration or missing parts may be refused or may receive a partial refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot normally be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective or incorrect:

  • Personalised or custom-made products
  • Personal-care, hygiene or intimate products that have been opened
  • Perishable products
  • Digital products or downloadable content
  • Gift cards
  • Hazardous materials
  • Clearance or final-sale products clearly marked as non-returnable

Please contact us before purchasing if you are unsure whether a product is eligible for return.

4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order after delivery.

If an item arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@vellas.uk.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos of the item
  • Photos of the packaging and shipping label

After reviewing the information, we may offer a replacement, refund or another appropriate solution.

Do not discard the item or packaging until we have completed our review.

5. Return Shipping

Customers are normally responsible for return shipping costs when returning an item because of a change of mind, incorrect size or personal preference.

Vellas will cover reasonable return shipping costs when the item is confirmed to be:

  • Damaged upon arrival
  • Defective
  • Incorrectly supplied

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return resulted from an error by Vellas.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service. Vellas is not responsible for returned packages that are lost or damaged before reaching the authorised return location.

6. Return Address

Do not send returns to the business address shown on our website unless we have specifically instructed you to do so.

After your return request is approved, we will provide the correct return address and return instructions.

Products sent to an unauthorised address may be delayed, refused or returned to the sender.

7. International Returns

Customers returning products internationally are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Customs forms
  • Import or export charges
  • Duties, taxes and brokerage fees

Original customs duties and import taxes are generally not refundable by Vellas. You may need to contact your local customs authority regarding any available refund.

Please mark the shipment as “Returned Goods” where appropriate.

8. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

We aim to process approved refunds within 5 business days after completing the inspection. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to display the refund in your account.

Shipping fees, customs charges and other non-product charges are not refunded unless the order was damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise eligible under applicable law.

9. Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be issued where an item:

  • Is returned outside its original condition
  • Shows signs of use
  • Is missing packaging, accessories or parts
  • Has been damaged after delivery
  • Requires cleaning, repair or repackaging

We will explain any deduction before completing the refund.

10. Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges for every product.

The fastest way to receive a different item is usually to return the original product and place a new order after the return has been approved.

For damaged, defective or incorrect products, we may arrange a replacement without requiring a new order.

11. Order Cancellations

To request cancellation, contact contact@vellas.uk as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee cancellation after an order has entered processing or has been shipped.

If the order has already shipped, you may request a return after receiving it, subject to this policy.

12. Shipping Delays and Unfulfilled Orders

If we cannot ship your order within the stated timeframe, we may contact you to request approval for a revised shipping date or offer cancellation and a refund.

If an order cannot be fulfilled, any payment collected for the unavailable item will be refunded to the original payment method.

US online sellers must either meet their advertised shipping timeframe or follow applicable delay and refund procedures.

13. Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Please contact us immediately if you notice an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after processing begins.

If an order is returned because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt or refusal of delivery, we may deduct the original shipping cost and any return-to-sender charges from the refund.

14. Lost or Missing Orders

If tracking shows no delivery or your package has not arrived within a reasonable period after the estimated delivery date, contact contact@vellas.uk.

We may ask you to:

  • Confirm your shipping address
  • Check with household members or neighbours
  • Contact the local carrier
  • Provide additional information for a delivery investigation

A replacement or refund may be provided after the carrier investigation is completed.

15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute. We will make a reasonable effort to resolve order, delivery or refund issues directly.

Submitting a chargeback does not automatically cancel an order or return request.

16. Applicable Consumer Rights

This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights available under the laws that apply to your purchase.

Return and refund policies should clearly explain the return deadline, eligibility requirements, return shipping responsibility and any applicable charges.
